Bihar Clean Fuel Yojana Overview
The Bihar government has launched this Bihar Clean Fuel Scheme for the three-wheeler drivers of Bihar. Under this scheme, three-wheeler diesel and petrol vehicles have been banned in Gaya and Muzaffarnagar of Bihar after 30 September 2023. Through this scheme, the state government will encourage its diesel and petrol drivers to buy CNG and battery operated vehicles. Under this scheme, drivers will be given a subsidy of Rs 20 to 40 thousand on converting three-wheelers into CNG and electric vehicles. With this, the citizens of the state will be able to buy diesel and petrol-free vehicles at a lower price.
Under this scheme, subsidy will also be given for installing CNG kits in commercial motor cabs or maxi cabs. Three-wheeler drivers running on petrol and diesel can avail the benefit of Bihar Clean Fuel Scheme as soon as possible to convert their vehicle into CNG or battery operated vehicle.
