Chirag Yojana 2024
Under Chirag Yojana Haryana, children from poor sections studying in government schools will be provided financial assistance to study in private schools. Under this scheme, the Haryana government will provide free education facilities to poor children in private schools. The entire expense of which will be borne by the government.
Children of those families whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh are eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. In the first phase of this scheme, the government will provide free admission to about 25,000 class 2 to class 12 students in private schools.
To start this scheme, Rule 134A has been abolished by the government. The government is going to allow all the poor children of its state Haryana to study free in private schools. All the private schools of Haryana have also agreed to provide free admission and education to the poor children under this scheme. Haryana government says that it has resolved to provide free education to poor children in private schools, which has been fulfilled since the beginning of this scheme.
Chirag Yojana 2024 New Update:-
The last date to apply for this Chirag Yojana is 10th April 2024. If there are more applications, the government will select the children by holding a draw on April 12. Complete details of class-wise declared seats in private schools are shown on the official website of Chirag Yojana.
After the selection of children, the schools will have to complete the admission process from the 13th to the 25th of April.
