ISRO Yuvika 2024: Because of the increasing technology, ISRO has once again started a new scheme for the children of class 9. For this, ISRO has started taking online applications from the children. The name of this program is YUva VIgyani KAryakram (Yuvika).
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announces Yuvika Program ISRO. According to this Program, class 9 students have been invited to the Young Scientist Programme. The two-week ISRO Yuvika Program will be started on 15 February 2024.

To increase the interest of young children in the increasing influence of science and technology, the Indian Space Research Organization has launched Yuvika Yojana (jigyasa iirs gov in yuvika). This scheme has been launched for class nine students.

Students applying for the ISRO Yuvika program must fulfill the following eligibility criteria –
- The applicant must be a native citizen of India.

- Participate in SpaceQuiz. Read Quiz guidelines carefully before appearing for the quiz.
- Fill in your personal profile and education details
- Students need to take photocopies of the certificates and attest the same by the principal/Head of School signing the certificate for verification. The verified certificate needs to scan and upload into the website. The photocopy of attested certificates and certificate for verification need to be uploaded on the website.
- Step-6: Generate your certificate for verification by your principal/Head of School/ Parent/ Guardian (Any mismatch observed in the attached certificate (s) by the student and certificate for verification submitted by the student will be liable for cancellation of candidature of the student)
- Step-7: Scan and upload your document and submit the application.
Yuvika ISRO Full Registration Process step by step:
For Yuvika ISRO Registration, the student will follow the given steps-
- First of all, go to the official website of the Indian Space Research Organisation, Department of Space, Government of India i.e., https://jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/yuvika
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Click on the Join Now tab
- The login page will open
- Click on the Register link.
- The registration form will open
- Now, fill in the form with all the required details like name, email ID, mobile number, address, etc
- After that, click on the register button
- An OTP will be sent to your registered email ID or mobile number
- Enter the received OTP for verification
- After successful verification, click on the Participate in SpaceQuiz button
- Now, fill in all the required details like personal profile and education details
- To ensure authenticity, obtain a photocopy of the certificates and have the principal or head of school sign it.
- After that, upload all the verified certificates
- Create your certificate so that your principal, head of school, parent, or guardian can verify it.
- Complete the application by scanning, uploading, and submitting the document.

To Login the Portal, the student will follow the given steps-
- First, you will go to the official website of the ISRO [jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/yuvika]
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Click on the Login button.
- The login page will open on the screen.
- Enter username, password, and the captcha code.
- Finally, click on the login button.
ISRO Yuvika Selection Process:
The selection of participants in YUVIKA-2024 will be carried out based on the following parameters:

| Scout and Guides / NCC / NSS Member in last 3 years | 5% |
| Studying in a Village / Rural School located in the Panchayat area | 15% |
- Minimum participation will be ensured from each State / UT. The programme is planned at seven centers of ISRO viz.
- Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun.
- Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram.
- Satish Dhavan Space Center (SDSC) Sriharikota.
- U. R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru.
- Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad.
- National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad.
- North-Eastern Space Applications Centre (NE-SAC), Shillong.
- Expenditure towards only the travel of selected student (II AC train fare or AC (including Volvo) bus fare by State Government or authorized transport from nearest Railway Station/ Bust terminal to the reporting center and back). Student needs to produce original ticket of travel for reimbursement of travel fare from respective ISRO center. In case the student has not travelled by the II AC train (II AC class), the maximum reimbursement of fare will be limited to II AC train fare only.
- The course material, lodging and boarding, etc., during the entire course, will be borne by ISRO.
- Students studying in Class ‘9’ as on Jan 01, 2024, within India are eligible to apply.
Selected students will be sent to these centers of ISRO:
Under the Yuvika ISRO program, the government will bear the expenses of the selected students going to the center. Students should carry their original ticket as they may have to produce proof for reimbursement of bus or second AC fare.
