What is Nandini Krishak Bima Yojana 2024 and Subsidy received-

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced the launch of Nandini Krishak Samridhi Yojana. The state government will give 25 indigenous cows to the people who apply for this scheme. These cows will be insured by the government. With the launch of this scheme, indigenous breed cow rearing will be promoted in the state.

Subsidy- Under the Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana, the state government will give a subsidy to the beneficiary farmers to set up a unit of 25 milch cows. Its cost has been stated by the state government as ₹62,50,000. In which the farmer will get a subsidy of 50% i.e. Rs 31,2500. Any interested farmer in the state who wants to take advantage of this scheme and wants to increase his income can apply for this.

Benefits and features of Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana 2024

• Under the Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana, farmers will be provided resources to sell milk.
• Through this scheme, the beneficiary cattle farmers will get the facility to sell milk at a fair price.
• Government milk societies will provide facilities to cattle farmers to sell milk in their villages.
• Under this scheme, a database of all the farmers will be prepared so that they can get the benefits of government schemes in the future.
• Additionally, grants will also be provided to animal feed and feed industries to support the growing demand from farmers.
• District and state committees have been formed to monitor the scheme.
• Apart from this, farmers will be encouraged to purchase indigenous breeds of cows so that the availability of milk can be increased.
• In this scheme, women of the district will be given an important role and benefits will be provided to more women.
• After receiving the selection letter, the beneficiaries will be given the purchase of local breed Gir, Sahiwal, Haryana, or Tharparkar cows within 2 months.

Who is eligible for the Nandini Krishak Samridhi Yojana?

• Any farmer in Uttar Pradesh state can take advantage of this scheme.
• The Aadhaar card of the applicant farmer should be linked to the bank account.
• The applicant farmer should have at least 3 years of cow-rearing experience.
• Ear tagging of cows should be done.
• An aspiring farmer should have at least 0.5 acres of land for setting up a dairy unit.
• The beneficiary should have at least 1.5 acres of land for producing green fodder for cows. Even if the land is taken on lease, it can work.

How to apply under Nandini Krishak Bima Yojana 2023?

Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana has been announced by the UP government. Under this scheme, cattle rearers of UP will be given benefits. Applications can be made both online and offline. If the number of applications is high, the beneficiary is selected by a committee headed by the Chief Development Officer by holding an e-lottery.
